About this event

Take part in this opportunity to learn about enduring extended drought conditions in our region.

Location: Strathmore Municipal Library (85 Lakeside Blvd, Strathmore)
Date: February 28th, 2024 (9:00am to 4:00pm)
Cost: $25 (coffee breaks & lunch included)

Topics will include understanding soil moisture, soil management for drought resiliency, a practical solutions panel discussion for managing drought conditions, maximizing the use of every inch in irrigation, crop systems for managing drought risk, and building farm resiliency.

This event is hosted in partnership by Wheatland County, Rocky View County, Kneehill County, and County of Newell.
